Pines West has been one of the best apartments I've ever lived (and I've lived in many places around Kalamazoo!) I completely recommend them and would encourage any of my friends to move in. The office staff has been nothing but kind and helpful and always makes a big effort to get to know you on a personal level and not just as another tenant. They are very friendly and great to deal with.

As for the apartment, the area is beautifully landscaped and they are QUIET, which I love. Last year I was subjected to rowdy students and parties every day of the week, so to be able to come home and relax without outside noise is a nice comfort. The walls are a bit thin and from time to time I can hear my neighbor's water running or their vaccuum or something along those lines but nothing too bothersome.

The people living in the complex have been very friendly as well as the maintenance staff. They are understanding when it comes to pets (hello! free for cats!) and also are very good about being watchful when entering the apartments because of that.

Tennis courts are great, I've gotten alot of use out of them!

For the money, it is one of the greatest deals available in the Kalamazoo/Portage area. If you haven't yet, check them out!
