Great place to live

I lived at Walnut Trail for five years, and loved it.
Beautiful grounds, excellent price, close to park, close to everything else, very quick maintenance response, friendly staff, fantastic parking (never had to park more than a dozen spaces down from my door), no bugs (I had a garden level apartment at one time), felt very safe.
Water was always hot, though a bit too chlorine-y for me (I lived out in the country and had well water before that).
I would have continued living there if I could.
Yes, the walls are thin - hey, it's free entertainment! Yes, there are geese and their waste - step around it! Yes, the guy below me sometimes played his music too loud and made my stuff rattle a bit - expand your musical horizons! It's an apartment complex; there are lots of people living their lives around you.
Though there were a couple of things that annoyed me once or twice, I can't think of a memorable example.
The snow removal isn't the greatest sometimes, once when it was really really wet, my garden-level apartment felt a bit damp on the floor near the window, I heard someone retching by the pool once.
Minor incidents.
Other than that, I loved living there, and I'd live there again in a second.
Oh, when I moved in to the smaller 1 BR w/balcony, rent was $400/mo; when I got the larger 1BR garden level it was $430, $450 when I left, but it would have gone back down to $430, and I only paid electric and phone.
Wish I could find something like that here in Ann Arbor! uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
