This is not a lavishing apartment, no washer and dryer in units, no dishwasher, just adequate bathroom, kitchen, living room space. However, a great value for $450 a month plus only electric and cable (optional). The stove and heating are both gas. Heat at 74 degrees all winter, no problem and no extra cost. In addition my average electric bill 17 dollars. A GREAT DEAL. I have looked thoroughly through this area and while I a still ornery about doing dishes and using the laundry facility below. The amount I am paying is at or below what I deem appropriate pricing.


The location of walnut trails is splendid. That is if you re an outdoor type of person. 300 yard away is a 5.0 mile nicely paved bike, role blade, and running trail that is never too crowded. Miejers grocery store is located about 1 1/2 miles from apartment. Call it a blessing or a cure but the mall, outlet stores, and basically anywhere you want to spend you money is 5 minutes away. I lived on the second floor in a 3-story complex and I have not personally had problems with hearing people above or below the apartment. Although I will not say the wall are anything above average for noise insulation. The property landscaping is very well kept and they take pride in their grass and sidewalks looking pristine.


If you re a college student, the best bars are located downtown about 20 minutes. From here it is a pricey taxi ride back home. The train tracks are right next to the apartment and can wake you up at 4:30am. I currently live in an apartment closest to the track and the sound is not unbearably loud but if you are a light sleeper this may not be your place. The apartment complex is quite large and it is possible to get a room far away from tracks where others have said they can't hear the trains at all.. As others have pointed out the geese are ANNOYING and I have on several occasions wanted to drive my car over there squawking body. If you have small children, I DO NOT RECCOMEND this place for the reason just motioned above. Geese can be very aggressive at times and I would be worried about a child getting attacked.

Side note: You will have to provide shades for your windows. Kind of annoying and not a thing I am typically used to paying.(about $50)

In summary, don't expect anything extravagant. This is a very reasonably price place that provides an adequate apartment with no extra frill amenities. I am a budget-minded person and have enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this apartment facility.
