Great and affordable!

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
I haven't lived there for about 5 years now, but I can't imagine that it has changed negatively. The only reason I'm writing is because I'm back in the market for leasing an apartment and this site really aids in helping me make my decisions, so I would like to help others.
My brother and I ended up leasing here because we heard nothing but great things about it, especially the price! We both were attending college, so luxury wasn't conceivable. The staff was very impressionable, respectful, and helpful. We had to wait for our apartment to open, and that process happened without any problems. the apartment was in great shape, with respect to wear and tear. Our balcony was in need of restoration (and paint), as many are in many complexes. But, it was no problem spending time on it. The layout and space was adequate and welcoming. I believe the only thing we had to pay for was electric....maybe heat too. The cool thing was that they had their own free cable (as I remember it). But, at the same time, we were unable to get a cable service of choice. Getting an internet service of choice was not possible either. We never needed to put internet in, but I think it would have had to have been through the phone line. We-no-like slow internet. They may have switched it up by now, allowing consumer freedom. Hey, they had a pretty self sufficient setup.
Maintenance was good, pretty timely, and nice. They were far from creepy feeling and creepy appearance. Their routine checks helped us know that we and our apartment were cared for during our lease. A couple inspections were mandatory (in and out, home or not. They would obviously give adequate notice. If they had to negotiate mandatory inspections with all tenants, they would never get them done productively.) and the rest were handled per our request of having maintenance come when we were home, if we preferred.
The complex was mostly quiet with the occasional party. People party. They need to celebrate things. But, it never became a common and annoying problem. The neighbors were nice and respectful. I had a few friends that have lived there over the years and liked them just as much. I gained new friends while living there too. They have a pool and clubhouse that I never ended up using, but they were there and in great shape. The grounds were always in good shape. The dumpsters were almost always tidy, except for the occasional sofa or other furniture beside them or protruding from them. We had no problems with vandalism, thieving, unsupervised children, loitering, or hoards of unruly teenagers. I disliked having to walk to the laundry room and pay the machines, but I never had to worry about someone snagging my clothes. It always helps to keep up with cycle times. Speaking of which, there was never really any problems with people leaving their laundry in the machines for long periods of time to where you had to grumble as you pulled their stuff out of a machine that you had to use.
PRIME LOCATION!! It is in the heart of the common main drag, yet it is on its own secluded loop! In addition, there's a storage unit right across the street in case you need to pay for some extra space. I never had problems with them either, or saw any vandalism. The complex is close to a train track of frequent use, but it didn't matter. Plus, a prime paved trailway park is close by to bike, skate, walk, run, walk your dog, picnic, etc. It reaches from one end of town to the other. Some people still struggle with thinking it's okay to take up the entire path, causing traffic deficiencies. But, people have been good at figuring out the rules to make things flow properly. The ones that struggle are usually the newbies or those that are unaware of common courtesy and manners.
ALL THAT FOR AN AFFORDABLE PRICE!! Talk about positive and rewarding business practices!!! It keeps new customers pouring in!! They allowed me to live peacefully while having cash to sustain myself with other necessary expenses.
Accept any past and present good reviews with luster!! I haven't viewed any of the negative ones. But, as you know, you should always consider them in your own objective context. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RENTING HERE!! If you are a mess and make bad decisions in life, please don't rent here though. Keep it a great environment for everyone else. I WISH THIS COMPLEX, OR AT LEAST THE MANAGEMENT, WAS IN MY CURRENT RELOCATION AREA!!! DADGUMMIT!!! I guess I can't have everything.
