Forrest Ridge is a slum. I have lived on State Fair and Woodward and it was a nicer place than Forsest Ridge. My apartment floods everytime it rains and they claim they patch it up. WTF' Are you serious' I'm writing to the BBB once my lease is up so I get my security deposit back. The place wasn't even ready when I had moved in. They don't put things back after moving them after so-called "repairs."

It's Funny.... It was like that 5 years ago when I lived there.... SLUM LORDS.... I used to put a complaint in writing and in the same letter state that your problem is effecting your health due to the possible black mold associated with water problems...also state that this is an ongoing problem that should have been fixed after the first complaint and that you are refusing to pay rent until the problem is fixed! I also suggest that you post fliers on every single door including the office door stating that you will be forming a "tennant association" to fight against the slum lords of Forest Ridge Apartments.... You need to get everyone that you can to join... especially the one's that have an on going problem with their apartment (which is pretty much everyone) to write letters threatening to stop their rent payments until everything is fixed. This doesn't mean that you don't have to pay rent.... you just have to put all the money into an escrow account... JUST SAVE ALL YOUR PAPERWORK!!!!! This is how I won with my situation. Good Luck!
