After living at other apartment complexes in the area before moving here, I can recommend River Oaks without question. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and nature abounds. I wanted to save money, so my view isn?t the best, but most apartments have great views. One of my favorites aspects of living here is because I have children and it seems like almost every month there is some sort of party at the club house for us to enjoy. Of course every complex has it?s ups and downs with maintenance problems, but I don?t have many comlaints in that area either. The staff seems willing to hear my complaints with a smile and the problems get solved. The previous review stated that snow removal was a problem. I disagree. Many snowy mornings over the past few years I have gone out to find River Oaks plowed while city streets were still unplowed. Also, in regards to appliances, mine have been updated, so no complaints there either! Even though nobody?s perfect, River Oaks is TONS better than the other local "apartment communites" I have lived in . (I?ll do my editorial on those in their own sections.) Hope this is helpful....
