The manager is to blame.

I have lived here for one year and I can??t wait to move out. The surroundings are beautiful but that??s about the only plus. The buildings are built as cheaply as they could be built, the cabinets are wont close, and the carpet if you move in here you will start out with crap stained carpet to begin with and then they will charge you 400 dollars to replace it. The maintenance will fix some stuff but will refuse some stuff and says its fine. But what makes this place really do down hill is the manager, she lies right to your face and will do anything she wants. She is the least professional manager I have ever met. She acts like she owns the place. Don??t move here you will be disappointed with the apartment and mostly the manager.

If you want to make a change, please forward your experience to "www.complaints.com" so that they could advise river oaks in writing. They do that and an official letter might be able to make changes.
