There are definitely things I dislike about River Oaks, most of which are due to poor management decisions in my opinion. However, it is by far the best Rochester has to offer! The community is beautiful and makes you feel like you actually live in a subdivision instead of an apartment complex, the pool area has tons of reclining chairs, the gym is decent enough (I use it quite often and while it'd be nice if there were more and newer machines, it's good enough for me), and the maintenance responds fairly quickly. The rent is a bit steep, but you get a LOT of square footage in exchange! We have cathedral ceilings, which is very nice as well.

We have lived here for 1.5 years and will stay here for at least a year or two more!
