I thought this apartment community looked okay. It was in a good location and was relatively okay for the money.

I lived in a 3 bedroom apartment with two roommates. A few months into the lease, we had to contact the management company, as we were covered in bug bites. They had to come spray for bugs.

Besides the infestation, the management company is terrible. We were promised numerous things, none of which happened. We were advised we could paint the walls any color, as long as they were painted back before we left. We never received a mailbox key, but a key my roommate had for her work mailbox happened to work so we just used that. We were promised a dishwasher, which we never received .. just to name a few..

My favorite part about this management company, is when we knew we weren't staying another year, we called at least 2 months prior to the end of the lease to advise them. The lady at the office took our names and unit number and said we were all set. Then when we called the last day of our lease to ask where they want us to leave the keys, they told us we never notified them that we were leaving.

To make the rest of this story short, we are now in the process of suing the managment company. They kept our $875 security deposit. When we objected they sent us a damages list of over $1100! They charged us for the carpet (which we even wrote was "disgusting" on the inventory sheet when we first moved in!), for re-painting the walls (when we spent $100 on paint to make them white again when we left!), and $75 for cleaning the kitchen (we paid a $100 non-refundable cleaning fee when we moved in!)!!

Do not make the same mistake we did. I also heard a rumor that management company sold the apartments and they are now in the process of making them condos. Either way, do not trust Fetter Management Company
