Maybe it's because of the sub-standard places I've lived at in the past, but this is a very nice place to live. It's great to not have anyone above of below you. The pet policy is outstanding--You can have up to three pets (one can be a large breed dog); and there is no pet rent or initial pet fee!!! As far as previous comments about snow/ice; regardless of where you live there is going to be some salt application you need to do yourself (the maintenance guy can only shovel one house at a time, for crying out loud). We opted for slightly higher priced model so we could have more driveway access (we only share with our immediate neighbor). The building is older but I have no perceptible drafts (as I did with my previous townhouse). Located in very convenient and safe area (right off I-75 near the 696 interchange) & minutes from downtown Royal Oak. I like it!
