I am surprised by the other reviewer's comments. Thorncrest is a little old, and under new managment who is working to clean the place up. This is one of the few apartment complexes in Saline, however it is reasonable priced and has a great location. Walking distance to restaurants, downtown, shopping, grocery stores, etc. I moved out in may of 2009 and am moving back this October! That should speak volumes in and of itself, but if you are still not convinced, check it out. It was relatively quiet and safe (no druggies in sight!). The police drive (and ride bicycles) through all the time just to keep a presence. All maintenance issues were resolved same or next day. No bug problems, A/C worked good, washer and dryer in every building, etc. Give Thorncrest a shot, at least take a look for yourself!
