I lived at Lakeside Park for a year. It was my first apartment and I really couldn't have been more happy with it. The one bedroom I was living in was just the right size for me and my cat. I felt safe there which was KEY to any place that I was going to rent from. The building I lived in were all very friendly people. I'm not sure about the other buildings but the one that I lived in... there was MORE than enough parking because we had the big lot. Maintenance was pretty good and timely for the most part. I only had a few problems and two of them were my own fault. They didn't fix anything that was on the list from when I moved in ( ie. there was a hole underneath the sink in the bathroom and some tiles were loose in the utility room ) but they were very minor things and I dind't really care if they had got fixed anyways so I didn't press the issue. I'm almost positive if I woulda complained then it would have been taken care of. As far as noise... I lived on the parking lot side so I'd occassionally hear people walking by at night but nothing horrible... and I had a noise problem for about 2 weeks from the people that lived underneath me... after calling the second time, it was taken care of immediately. The first call was just to inform them of the situation, second call was to see if something could be done. They were right ontop of it and was VERY pleased with how they handled it. I can't complain about the price either.. it was within my budget so that was great. I really wish I could have stayed another year or two but my job had different plans for me so I moved out after my year was up and had no problems with moving out even though I was moving out after a major turn over in management at the leasing center. Very friendly staff. The only time I think I had a problem is they knew I worked a lot of hours and my boyfriend sent me roses one day... after two days of trying to call me... ( I was so tired I didnt check my messages ) one of the leasing consultants attempted to enter my apartment and put the roses on the counter for me. I was in my bedroom sleeping when I heard them trying to come into my apartment but I had the chain on and they couldnt get in. I was pretty upset about that because it wasn't an emergency but overlooked it because the girl was new and I guess, in her own way, was trying to be helpful. All in all though, it was a very nice place to live my first time out on my own. I would definately recommend it.
