This place is well maintained however the staff will not handle any problems with the residents.If you are having a problem they will tell you to discuss it with them- they have no real standards of behavior that I know of.Shortly after I moved in I had parked my car at the curb while I was bringing some things from my other apartment,
the resident of the aprtment near the door slammed open and then slammed shut his doorwall, then when I brought the next load up he ame after me and started shouting at me. I then moved my car to its parking space
and unpacked from there but he ran up the stairs after me shouting.I complained about this at the leasing office and they told me what a nice guy he was and suggested we should talk about this. Well as a single woman I would say this is not something I felt comfortable doing.
Recently some of the tenants of our building had a conference because the tenant who lives next door to me tried to rape the girl who lives in the apartment underneath me. The police were called and the tenants of that apartment told the management of Cranbrook Centre about it, they also talked to everyone that worked in the leasing office.They stated that no one had a problem with this person.They wanted this person evicted and they refused to do anything about it.Evidently they notified him that someone had a problem with him- I don't think that's how I would describe rape.
They try to give you the impression when you move in that it's safe and there is no crime. That is not true- they are cruising the parking lot all the time watching so they can steal cars- they watch to see when people come and go.I really tink people should know that this is not a safe place to live.The girl is afraid to go out of the apartment.
