You get what you pay for and this place is just an over priced ghetto owned and run by slum lord management who neglect repairs, up keep of the land, and much needed upgrades. The manager (BOYD) will out right lie about attending to problem areas and taking action to resolve problems leaving the tenants to rely on the Southfield police, animal control, plumbing problems, and extrermination.

Owners - FIRE BOYD

New/Prospective Renters - LEAVE WHILE YOU HAVE THE CHANCE

News flash boyd is out. They hired someone new. If people have a problem that doesn't involve repairs then yah call the police. If you attract trouble don't rely on a manager to fix your problems. He is not god. He is a manager. Never have a lived in a place where the people or similiar to children. GROW UP! take responsiblity for your own actions. If everything is so terrible, put your money in an escrow account and hold it till they fix stuff. The place isn't ghetto, I live here and I don't mind it at all. Animal control is now the responsibility of the apartment complex. I'm confused how is the manager suppose to control nature now. Thats stupid. Should he also control the weather? I'm tired of people trashin my home, get something better to say then its over priced. Its a 2 bedroom for under 600 dollars. yup sounds over priced to me. What is your IQ 10? Get a grip. Bug issues again what are you dirty? Clean up. My entire building doesn't have issues. We all talk and are friendly to each other. I have hung out with everyone in my building, meaning I have been in there apartments. Everyone has a clean apartments and some how they don't have bug issues, weird... FYI Boyd doesn't own the property. Its owned by Hartman and Tyner. so if you want to ----- go to them. Not the manager. The manager has no say in alot of stuff. Hartman and tyner is a big corporation i doubt that they are slum lords. Really people if you keep a clean house your not going to have bug issues. Bugs just don't magically appear.

That above response sounds like someone from management submitted it. I find it very unlikely that all these negative reviews I am reading is just because all these people are nasty. Yes a 2 bedroom for under $600 is a good deal & if you have had a great experience living here fine but its OBVIOUS that numreous of other people have not so dont be a smart ass just because other residents have had a different experience than you. Whether Boyd owns the complex or not it doesn't mean he shouldn't have management skills or be approachable to his tenants he is the manager.....DUH!!!! I have read several reviews about this property besides bug issues so you GROW UP! You clearly are the child in this matter for butting into my business. I have had a bad experience here and you cant change that, since your experience has been so great then I am happy for you but dont come on here and try to criticize me for my experience.
