The apartment itself is very nice, spacious and up-to-date. However, the gate arms that are supposed to deter non-residents and criminals are usually always up. I was robbed at gunpoint right outside my apartment only a few weeks after my neighbor's car was stolen while it was warming up on a cold morning. After being robbed, I wanted to move immediately; however, management was so concerned with getting another month's rent that felt compelled to stay for an additional month. The fact that I had already been here 4 years did not matter. And when I questioned the owner about security, he basically said that he'd like to add more security, but rent would have to increase. He then asked how I'd like an increase in rent. It was then that I realized that these people only care about money and that they wouldn't be getting any more of mine. Other than that, it was a great place to live. I also didn't care for the wildlife that seemed to be scratching within my ceiling during the spring and summer mornings.
