DON'T DO IT!!!!!

I lived in Pine Aire for several years. It was a nice family type of apartment complex with reasonable rent. It was fairly diverse and you were happy as a tenant. The maintenance came within a 24 hr period and the rent office would answer the phone all day long. The clean up crew was "on point" and they kept the grounds looking very nice.

Unfortunately, all good things come to an end at some point or another. I HAD TO GO!!! I noticed seasoned tenants were moving out and new tenants were moving in, but very slowly. I started to notice a lot of ------- and a lot of Africans moving in. The aroma's that would come through the apartment vents and linger in the hallways were absolutely nauseating. I have nothing personal against other nationalities and races, but those were some things that I first began to notice. I then noticed the up-keep of the grounds decreased. As other reviews have mentioned, the garbage was in the laundry room trash cans and ALWAYS on the sides of the garbage bins outside. Tenants with loud music started to move in...domestic violence tenants were moving in and all of the things that the average tenant tries to avoid, began happening in Pine Aire and becoming public knowledge. The rent office stopped answering the phones, and the answering machine was on. The "specials" signs started going up frequently...even offering free heat (which had NEVER been done). The ultimate NO-NO was mysterious bites on the body. Yup, that's right... BED BUGS!!!! Thought it was just a myth, huh' HELL NO! There were several tenants in more than one unit that had BED BUGS. Some of the tenants were even evicted, because it was believed they brought the bugs to the units (foreigners). I thought that was a shame. I'm glad my lease was almost up when all of this started happening. From my understanding, they ARE moving tenants into those bed bug infested apartments. I hope you don't "let the bed bugs bite" I would highly recommend you second guess this apartment. IT's not what it used to be.
