I still remember the day I checked out a model apartment. Everything looked peaceful and liveable. BOY WAS I WRONG. The walls, ceilings and floors in these apartments are TERRIBLE--the loudest I have heard anywhere! You can hear every step, every song, every bathroom/kitchen action, every sexual encounter, every loud conversation that the neighbors around you make! It is annoying as hell at 1-2 in the morning when you gotta go to work the next day. You can even hear THEIR air conditioners running in the summer!! The look and feel of the apartments aren?t that bad, everything else is manageable. The maintenance crew is not very punctual, but they do the job. They?re pretty slow on shoveling/salting the walkways, though. I don?t live on the first floor so I don?t feel unsafe (the first floor does seem like a gamble though; the apt. sits in the ground, so your window is at waist/leg level with everybody--you can just kick in a window without trying too hard). I can?t comment on management because I don?t know them anymore--I don?t like dealing with them after my experiences with the former manager (see the other review--they know who I?m talking about as well). Dealing with them and trying to survive this constant barrage of noise just made me feel like a inmate, sucking it up and waiting for their sentence to be up. And mine is almost done. And like most inmates say, I ain?t never coming back.
