Village Green was my very first apartment, and I was more than excited to make it home.

The leasing consultant, was a sweet young lady who seemed to go that extra mile just to get me 'in'. I was impressed, no more than impressed w. the model. The grounds were inviting as was the structure. I continually saw the maintenance workers driving around in their carts, which was a good sign to me that they were doing what was needed.

I was also pleased when they added a full size mirror to the wall in my dining area..no extra cost.

Now, although the apartment was nice itself, it was not worth $800, more like $600-$650. When I moved in my bathroom door had two toned knobs on the doors...one side was gold, the other was silver. It also looked as if the door had been hacked w. an axe and just 'painted over' I complained 1st thing and they never fixed it.

The gated entry NEVER worked from the day I moved in, and STILL doesn't (I have 'investigated') That in itself was my biggest problem!!!

They charged me a 25$ gate card fee...and everytime I asked they gave me a story. "Oh it has to be rebuilt" "We have police in the area" Then they had the nerve to charge me for not turning the key back in, when I moved out. I lost the darn thing, b.c I never used it!!! I feel it is false advertising. Even after I was there a good 6 months, other tenants told me how they had also charged them 25$ for the gate key...but it never WORKS!!! In result, there were 3 incidents w. residents vehicles were violated. PLUS, your dorr into your apt if you live on an upper level is NOT locked so it's pretty much UNsafe.

Maintenance responded well. But overall the condition of the apt & the gated entry was my problem. I paid $800 for quality and GATED ENTRY. Think about it. They ROLL that into the cost of your rent, as an addt'l benefit, which you don't get.
