The apartment was spacious with a good floorplan, but parking was often scarce as was laundry facilities. The laundry facilities door was often broken(locked). There were multiple occasions of tenants clothes being stolen from the laundry room.
The dumpster was always full, this lead to skunks and rats in the parking lot. Pipes made loud banging sounds in the walls and neighbors would blame each other for the noise. The walls were somewhat thin, but neighbor noise was usually not a problem, the floor and ceiling on the other hand were horrible. When someone would walk up the stairs it would cause the apartment to shake as if it were in an earthquake. If you sat on the floor during while someone else was walking around on the same floor it felt like a trampoline. The pest problem was not too bad, there were always skunks around the apartment, but there were only a few occasions when we found cochroaches.
We constantly had problems with the air conditioning, and due to this our summer electric bills were consistantly 150-200 dollars a month. When we complained to management we were told this was a common price and it was due to our lifestyle.
