Pretty nice

We enjoyed our stay at Village Green. Location was near to Telegraph, 696 and NW Highway. Apartments were roomy and had a ADT security system. Security gate in the front was never working but we never had any problems, although we did hear about one car theft/vandalism when we were here. Pool was very nice, but very chilly. Exercise room was so-so, not a ton of equipment and not always working properly but usually available.
Noise was generally not a big issue, the plumbing was noisy but it generally wouldn't bother us except when we were near the bathroom. The exterior doors wouldn't always shut very well, so the hallways were often cold and it's kind of surprising that we didn't have animals or bugs invade.
Maintenance was generally quite good, issues were taken care of quickly and effectively. Office staff was pretty good, although they've had quite a bit of turnover lately, they still seem pretty good. It is really annoying that they try to raise the rent quite a bit every time your lease expires, once they tried to raise our rent about $90/month which was about $50/month more than they were offering new tenants off the street, even though we had never been late on our rent or caused any problems. Just keep in mind that this is negotiable, so don't just accept their first offer. Snow removal was awful, some of the sidewalks and main parking areas didn't get cleaned until late afternoon. Parking is plentiful, but secondary parking is kind of isolated and seems quite a bit less secure.
Apartments are kind of expensive for what you get but pretty nice.
