I stayed at Weatherstone North for 2 years from 2005 to 2007. The complex had everything you could ask for. I had 3bed,2full,2half baths, finished lower level w/doorwall, loads of storage, 2car att gar, and more space than most homes. Never had any problems w/maintenance issues or repairs. Quiet,serene, lovely neighbors. I loved it there until I lost my job and had to move. After a couple mos I gave 30 day notice to move due to job lost. Management was very understanding until I moved out. Within weeks I received notice for the balance of 6mo lease payment due in full now! I left unit very clean, sweept, vacumed, washed walls. Only defect was minimal wear & tear on 2 yr old carpet. They claimed unit was dirty & kept whole sec deposit for paint & carpet. Unit was leased out w/in 30days of me leaving & I still got calls/letters demanding last six mos. If I had known this then, I would have stayed and had them put me out for non-payment. Trying to do the right thing, does not seem to matter to Kaftan Management. There was compassion before I left. After I left compassion was gone.
