I live in a second floor unit and our roof started leaking last saturday, and it is now monday morning and nobody has fixed any of the damage in our unit. Not only have they not fixed it yet, but they have been slow in returning any calls. I never received my first call from them until 3 days after repededly reporting the problem, and I contacted the building inspector did maintenance finally come look at the damage for less than 5 minutes, and couldn't answer any questions regarding when it would be fixed. Due to this I had to cancel our Christmas Dinner, and other family functions I typically hold since my master bedroom is unuseable and I have had to relocate our bedroom furniture into our living and dinning area.

I finally received a phone call from them after almost a week regarding the HOLE in the roof, and was told by the office staff that they typically don't make these types of repairs until Spring since it will just leak again. However, if I insisted they could send a PAINTER out. Not a drywaller to fix the parts of the ceiling that have begun to cave in, or the hole that the water damage has begun to create around the window, or the water damage that has been leaking into the carpeting and floor for over a week.

This was not my first issue with maintenace either. During the heatwave last summer our AC broke, and it took them over 3 weeks to correctly repair the unit. There are also numerous minor issue such as broken blinds and lights that don't work properly inside the unit that they have neglected to repair after months of requests.

I have finally had to resort to legal preceedings and press my tenent rights to persue these repairs to be made since some of these are health and safety issues and I have a chronic illness.

There have also been cars broken into outside of my apartment a few times over the last year and a half, and our neighbor was robbed at knife point a few months ago for her purse.
