SHADY PLACE TO LIVE

This is by far the worst living experience of my life. The manager Lisa is useless. She does not know how to run a complex. She is lazy and has to be asked over and over again for things to be done. We lived here for a year and that was enough. We are so happy we moved. We lived in a NON-Dog building yet 3 or more tenants had dogs (which were addressed to Lisa many times yet nothing was done). And there was always trash and smoking in the hallways. There was never enough parking either. Some people were aloud to have 2 or more cars parked right in front of the doors so everyone else had to walk. I used to work until really late and would have to walk around the complex to get to my car to my building. There is little to no insulation so energy bills were through the roof. We even felt a break coming from a window beause the seal was broken (which was never fixed when we lived there. Parking...what parking'' There is never any spaces after 5pm. The apartments are very cheaply constructed and fall apart. Be careful what you sign because they are full of lies. They will tell you anything so you sign. qmzu4EHcaGAPVCPw2Fai

I agree that this is a horrible living experience, poor construction, drafts and parking, but not about Lisa. The other 3 apartment managers lied to me, and she seems to be the only one who didn't. The current maintenance person, David, also did his job well, was courteous and timely (unlike the first two maintenenace people). Though it is true that when I went to Lisa for help, I didn't get any. The one I remember as the most ridiculous was the barking dog who was outside on the 3rd floor balcony of the dog building, and went on for more than an hour. I was home sick and it was driving me nuts. She declined to do anything because the dog had rights too. It is true that there are dogs in non-dog buildings. I did talk with Lisa about this, but she disagreed with me, and said something about the dogs being "helper" dogs. I know that these weren't helpers, just pets. She might not know about them though, as the owners seem to wait to take the dogs out early in the morning or later at night. We also had trash and smoking in the halls, and there was some improvement after she sent out a letter. I lived in a building where there was an abusive relationship (teenager throwing tantrums, abusing his mother and sexual situations with a young girl that happened when the mother wasn't at home). I asked for help from the first and second manager, and they didn't do anything. So I talked with the mother and that didn't do anything either. The police didn't help during any of this, as they got there after all the screaming, physical fighting, throwing things, and etc. ended, so it all continued until they moved out. The mother had wrote me a nasty letter (as they knew who called the police), but the police considered it just disgruntled neighbors because of the noise, and never looked into any of the abuse that was going on. This was the most stressful place that I had ever lived.
