It's all right, but there are too many kids and grumpy neighbors.

I have lived here for a year now, and I've had mixed feelings. Village Green was my first experience living in Michigan, and within a few months there was a murder on the property and my car and my fiancees car was broken into. The parking situation is atrocious, expect to park a mile away from your building if you arrive after 8 PM. The office staff is friendly, the security is severly lacking, and I can't say one night did I ever feel truly safe living here.
The actual apartment was fine, but expect to have the needed repairs hastily and shoddily done. We had to share hot water with the person next door, which was not a pleasant experience as the plumbing seemed to be possessed. Complaints about anything to the staff was either met with offhanded comments or indifference. Overall a good place to live if you're on a budget, but don't expect to be truly satisfied.
