I am moving out due to the huge increase in ghetto people moving in! Lets start with the neighbors and grounds. When I come home from work at night, you enter the complex and approach about 8 to 10 black youth standing in the middle of the street that won't move. Quick lock your door and don't dare beep your horn. I would consider these gang members in any other neighborhood. How about the homeless people living on the grounds. The baseball diamond near the entrance has several homeless men living in the storage shed. God forbid you have any children playing there. I called the police a few times to investigate but they never come in time to catch them. Now, about the police. They are in here about 20 times or more a day, on calls, or just on patrol I do not know, but I have never lived in a community with police patrols going on like clock work.

Sound.. I live in an upper unit and can hear my neighbors below me talking, phone ringing, tv on low, and when they walk, the building rattles due to its poor construction. I had company over one night and when the floor shook she thought it was an earthquake. And that was just from normal walking. I hear my neighbor talking on her phone, and it sounds as loud as if she was in the room with me. scary!
My neighbors store their garbage in the hallways. not just one neighbor, all of them! When the (1)dumpster is full, the whole community still dumps there garbage on the ground creating huge piles 6 to 8 feet high. Rats, mice, and skunks are plentiful in the community due to this weekly fiasco. Lest I forget the sounds of rats or mice in the walls and hallways.
Gutters are stuffed with dead leafs from 8 years ago. never been cleaned. The work out room has had the televisions stolen by residents and their guests. I tried to work out a month ago, and 15 kids were in the room playing, screaming, fighting, and breaking equipment. I went back later only to find a Pakistani family with lawn chairs watching World Cup Soccer on cable and keeping cool. That did it! I was finished with the gym. I never felt safe because of the roaming gangs, homeless people, and the lower class residents from the complex next door roaming through our complex. (Village on the park)If you want to see black stereotypes at there best, just drive through the complex to see all of them hanging out on thier porches drinking 40's.
Gated community NOT!!! the gate is torn down nightly by the incompetent and lazy asses who live here, or by the people who steal cars from the lots. I suggest you look elsewhere. this complex has gone down hill real quick! The lawn maintenance went down hill also. USed to be a great company taking care of the grounds, but now its just a budget company.

Look elsewhere! But don't take my word for it, just drive through to see for yourself.

A jig that copies & pastes the same paragraph over & over again whenever someone writes a review about a detroit metro area complex that is being ran down by fellow jigs. Jiggity jiggity. Oh also. Hello there Whiner. I am a resident of the Village on the Park apartments next door and I am far from lower class. Based on the posted reviews of your complex in comparison to those of Village on the Park, it appears that it is your complex that contains the lower-class folk like yourself.

I am not a resident and at this point nor will I be one. Babygirl you have to ignore people like anonymous. Anybody not willing to stand for their beliefs will fall for anything and that's an opinion not worth the ink it is written on. How do you confirm your gang theory, because youths are standing in a door way, makes them a gang or is it because they were black? I see young white youths all the time with piercings and tattoo's all over their body, what are they? In this time with so much hatred and pain going on, isn't time to say enough is enough and Thank God that you lived to see another day.
