We moved in here after being very impressed by the clubhouse and the amenitites just as it seems alot of others have. There is definitely alot to be said for looks can be deceiving! The noise from the people upstairs is a nightmare.. pounding and banging on the floor at all hours, constant traffic in and out. They slam doors, and the floor shakes as if there were an earthquake ALL THE TIME! The garbage piles up so high you would think it were a landfill. The maintenance SUCKS!! The light outside our entry door has literally been dangling and broken for 6 months right in front of their maintenance garage and it's never been fixed. The brick pavers that make the half assed "sidewalk" to our entry door are ALL broken, busted, uneven, and a complete hazard. Our son tripped and fell twice over the winter because the deathtrap walkway was buried under the snow and ice they DO NOT SHOVEL OR SALT. The grounds are FILTHY. Cigarette butts, litter and garbage EVERYWHERE. Our apartment is in plain view of the "maintenance garage" and all day I watch them stand around smoking and bitching about who will do what. They also seem to be pretty good at making ruts in the grass as they drive around their golf carts like kids. The parking is a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!! There are not enough spaces for the apartments they have occupancy for!! If you get home later than 8pm, we suggest you leave a pair of hiking boots in your trunk because you will probably end up having to park at least a building or two away. It's ridiculous. The spaces are SO tight we also reccomend that you get on a discount plan with Maaco as your door dings and scratches will be MANY. You would think that in a complex where the average rent is about $750.00 that should be sufficient to keep the streets decent. NOPE! The potholes are big enough to swallow a small child, the asphalt is in complete disrepair, and the parking lines are near invisible. Don't let the gates at the entrance fool you.. They are not a means of security but rather a huge annoyance as they are destroyed NIGHTLY, bent,or snapped by the hoodlums that linger the property. If we would have only known then what we know now we would have moved into a NICE apartment community. We cannot wait for our lease to be up!!!! What a long year it has been!!!
