My fiance and I moved in last January. We loved it. We never had a problem with anything. Maintenance was quick to fix anything. They were usually there the same day. We had crickets in our bedroom once. There were only about 3 but I think it's because we were on the ground level and our unit backed up to what used to be some woods. Our bedroom window started leaking after a bad storm, but maintenance fixed it quickly. Noise from our neighbors was NEVER a problem. You could hear my neighbor's TV in the hall, but when you shut your door it was quiet.

I really loved this place. The pool is nice and they have tons of activities to do to meet other people that live there. It is also next to a bunch of baseball diamonds if you're into that kind of thing. I would recommend this place to anyone that can afford the rent since no utilities are included.

Lucky you. We moved out in fall of 2007. Finishing out our lease was miserable. The entire time we lived there, it was nothing but problems after problems. From the maintenance, to the RUDE office staff, to the parking NIGHTMARE. There are not enough parking spaces for the number of units they have! The garbage dumpster was constantly overflowing, and the grounds were distgusting. The noise was ridiculous. We were on the second floor which only made things worse. We had a horrible fly problem all the time because the entrance doors to our building were CONSTANTLY left wide open all spring and summer. It was by far the WORST place we have lived and we warn everyone. The rent is SKY HIGH, and they include NOTHING . Village Green of Southgate West is a JOKE..
