Don't move here

I too was in love with this place when I first checked it out online. When I went in to get a tour I was still convinced that I would love to live here. Boy was I wrong! When I first moved in my carpet was old and smelled like dog so I complained to the office and they did change it BUT someone tracked black dirt all through my apartment after the new carpet was installed and for some strange reason management thought that I was going to be ok with this. They cleaned it but had the nerve to bill me for it. I told them exactly where they could put that bill considering it was their mess. I guess they took the hint because I didn't have to deal with that again. There was a huge burn mark in my walk-in closet in the "master" bedroom and when I asked them to replace it they simply cut a square in the carpet, left the old carpet around it and replaced the area that was burned. This was the dumbest thing I had ever seen but I still sorta liked the complex. When summer rolled around I started to have a major bug issue. I would walk in to see bugs that looked like roaches all over my walls throughout the apartment. I was afraid to sleep in my bedroom because there were several times where I would feel them fall on my head at night!!! That was the worst part ever. I didn't have a big issue with maintenance and from what I saw they took care of the property the best they could. The trash compactor is located right at the front of the complex and is truly an eye-sore especially since it is always full of trash. I did see rodents around but thankfully I never had to deal with mice. I lived on the second floor and I didn't have any problems out of my upstairs neighbors but I could always hear my downstairs neighbors having sex. My son was small at the time so he didn't know what was going on but I sure did. It was so loud it was like they were in my room. The gate never worked and I did see alot of weird looking people at the baseball field next to it. Management was cool until I moved in and heaven forbid you're late on your rent. For what they charge, the fact that you have to pay ALL utilities and that management was not helpful, it's definitely not the place to be. The clubhouse is nice but the rest of the complex is not. I didn't have a problem with large groups of kids hanging out but parking was an issue if you got home later in the evening as I did. All in all I wouldn't recommend this place. The only good thing about it is that if you need to use 75 it's right there. I was happy to move!
