This is the worst place in the entire world to live in people in third world county's are livin it up compared to this place me and my husband and one year old daughter are stuck here for a year and I'm ready to die there has been a leak in the hallway for over to month and has now turned into a giat spot of mold and we had the wosrt case of ants in the summer we told them about it and they said that we would have to pay to treat the whole building because we brought them in there are drug deals in the parking lot every night I repeat every night they told us the do a backround check on everyone and I no for a fact there are at least 7 people in my builing alone that are on probation because they sit on the steps talking about it The rent is the worst it is a hopping 530$ a month for a one bedroom our bathtub leak all over the floor the washer and dryers that you have to pay for do not work at ALL!!! you have to pay an extra 80$ if you have a cat that has to be declawed and the matnence treat you horrible and did I mention that everything i just told you they look at me like I stupid and treat me that way when I ask them to do anything and even though it looks like a great location it is not ...the worst place in the world to live im ready to move to the getto of benton harbor at least the rent would be cheaper and i'd get treated better..............---- THIS PLACE

Whoever you might be, you are not alone in your opinion of this place. I moved in last summer after relocating for a job in St. Joseph. I can tell you right now, this place was nothing short of depressing. Beyond the fact that St. Joe seems to be right in the middle of nowhere, in terms of a social pulse, this apartment complex only exacerbates the situation. I had a one bedroom and paid $578 per month. On top of this, they tried charging me a $600 security deposit to move in. It was nothing but a joke. And of course, I loved the fact that, in the surrounding area that passed for a "town," there were hardly any sidewalks to be found. Due to being laid off two months into my job, I went through hell to get out of my lease, simply because I couldn't afford it anymore. In the end, I literally had to sit down with the landlord and explain my situation. Let me tell you about that guy...
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I greatly empathize with you. I wish you the best with completing your lease. And just so you know, when winter comes around, you'll think you're in the loneliest place on Earth.
