The Great:
Durham Apartments is a great place to live. Neighbors mostly keep to themselves. Office staff and maintenance staff is outstanding! All maintenance issues have been fixed within one day. You can plant flowers in the summer since you have private entrances. You can put screen doors on so you can have more light. Finally, it is very pet friendly. The attic storage is great. Bugs' An occasional ant or spider.
The Bad:
The apartments are old and small. The air conditioning is an old hotel-style unit and can be costly to run all summer. Since we have private entrances, you neighbor may smoke on their porch and the smoke will come inside your bedroom window.
Why I left:
I could not keep my windows open at night and had to run my air conditioning all summer. People let their cats run and they will claw your screen. These cats outside will fight with your cats through the screen.
