The basement is infested with mooncrickets

I can't do laundry any more in the basement - I've been bitten by waterbugs or spiders or something.
The lights don't work and neither do the machines.
My momma says we got a bad mooncricket problem.
Anyone else having problems with your basements' The mold and odor was so bad that we don't store anything down there anymore - water leaks...and, that has brought with it the problem of the mooncrickets.
I guess it's fairly decent place to live as long as you don't have to use the basement for anything!
