I've lived here for two years and I'm signing on for another. While the laundry facilities are limited, the apartments themselves are in good shape. The quality is better than a lot of places I was looking at before renting here. In the past two years the management has installed new windows and toilets, and maintenance has always responded to calls within 24 hours (usually within an hour or two).

You need to check out the location of your apartment before signing the lease. If parking concerns you, there are some buildings that are farther away from the parking lots and require you to walk up a long sidewalk to get to your building. Check out the location of the apartment they're offering you before you agree to it!

My apartment looks out over a child's play area. I knew when I saw it that there was going to be noise - and there is! Kids are noisy when they play, but this isn't exclusive to an apartment complex. Aside from that and the occasional loud bass rumble from car stereo systems as they drive through the lot, I haven't had any problems. The apartments are fairly well sound insulated. I've heard neighbors' music in the hallway pretty loudly, but then nothing once I got into my apartment.

The grounds are well maintained, though snow removal this past winter wasn't as good as the year before. They were slow to put down salt and to plow away snow in the lots.

The only thing I'd really complain about is the air conditioning. The apartments have central air, but they must run on very small generators. Even with sparse use, my electric bill shoots up significantly. All other utilities are covered in the cost of your rent, including heat.

My apartment is the largest one bedroom they offer and it's very spacious. The closet and cabinet space is more abundant than in some houses. I'm pretty particular about what I like and how I think things should be done, and in most respects, Kingsley measures up.
