In Summary: Horrible Management, Equally Horrible Neighbors

I thought I'd found a nice place, was I ever so wrong. The sound-proofing between apartments is as effective as an umbrella in a hurricane. I could hear everything quite easily, some people just made it much easier. Like the guy next-door apparently hosting a rave, or the guys on the other side talking loudly on his cellphone, or even the redneck couple upstairs who seemed to wait until late at night to have arguments/fights.
Management did nothing to keep them in check despite my putting in writing several times about the disturbances. I had to go to the company owner finally, and read him the riot act, but by then I'd had enough.
Oh yeah, no sidewalks, so you risk getting flattened by drivers. The year-long-plus construction was ridiculous. Have they finished it yet'
Not worth the trouble.
