Don't be tempted!

I laughed at the review below mine because it is SO true. Don't be fooled - the apartments look nice on the inside, but once they suck you in is when the problems start. Had problems with ants and bugs moving in with me (and I am a clean freak, so imagine that), shady people living here, people laying on their horns at all hours of the night right outside your bedroom window, water coming through the ceiling from the person upstairs flooding the toilet (maintenance just came and literally poked it once with a stick and said it would be ok, so if the ceiling caves in on the next tenant, don't be surprised), snow removal diesel trucks numbering at least 3-5 roaring back and forth through the parking lots from 2-4am when everyone is trying to sleep, incompetent staff, people who are hiding dogs here even though they're not allowed, you name it. Also, there is a W/D in unit, but it's so tiny you would have to break up one normal load into three, so the balance isn't really worth it. So overall, don't do it...be strong and look elsewhere!! I can't wait to get out. There have been so many people moving out of here lately - it's not just me.

That's a bummer with the leak. I had a similar problem but they seemed to do a great job fixing it. And I totally agree that my w/d is TINY. But what I'm a little miffed about, are you really complaining that they clear the snow so early in the morning???? I love the fact they have it cleared so early. Heck, they seem to have it cleared before Dequindre is even cleared!
Also, I haven't met anyone who had a dog but, how is the staff's fault that people are "HIDING" dogs? That comment sounds a bit more like you are trying to find things to rag on them for. I'm moving out, and like i'm sure a lot of people in the area are, it's because I lost my job in the auto industry, not because of the apartment or the people there. I loved the fact that my apartment looked like it was brand new and it was a pretty good size, but i guess it just isn't for everyone.

Yes, I was complaining that they had a company come out at that ungodly hour. It's unnecessary. Clear it at 6 or 7 am - that would be fine, and right before a lot of people leave for work at 8 or 9. But not all of us work first thing in the morning - some of us have late shifts. It was just as upsetting to people around me - for instance, the baby in the room behind my bedroom who would scream bloody murder for an hour! To clear snow THAT early in the morning with that many noisy diesel trucks is completely uncalled for. I had called and spoken to the gate person and he said I was obviously only one person of many who had called to ask about the trucks, so as you can see, it is not just me by a long shot.
And to your other point, nowhere in my statement did I say that people hiding dogs was the "staff's fault". My point was that if you are going to have a policy of no dogs, you need to make sure people don't have dogs...otherwise change the policy so people know what they are getting into.
It's nice that you liked your apartment, but you should really just post your own entry instead of fabricating things that I didn't say or being "miffed" at my entry. I have the right to my own opinion just like everyone else.
