I enjoy living here at Shoal Creek! I am a current tenant, and I have been for a little over three years now. The location is perfect!

The office staff and maintence crew are polite, and they get things taken care of immediatly.

The private entrances make you feel like you are walking into your own house.

I will plant flowers around my "yard" in the spring.

The only complaints I have are:
- Poorly insulated windows. You can actually feel a breeze coming in when the window is closed. I had to put plastic up on the bedroom window this year, but the windows were so poorly insulated that the plastic kept getting blown out from the wind!

- The walls aren't as thick as they could be. When the neighbors below us got a new surround system, we could hear word for word the movie they were watching. Also, we can smell what they cook for dinner each night. The aroma seeps up from the staircase. It is not pleasant. Sometimes they must keep garbage or something under there. Many times I have walked in my apartment, and something smells dead under the stairs! Yuck! This gets embarrasing when someone new comes to visit.

- I know this isn't management's fault, but people tend to drive way too fast through the complex. This makes me sound old, but I am in my 20's! I have had way too many close encounters with idiots whipping around corners at break-neck speed. Some posted speed limits would be nice for those who have no common sense.
