Well, my heat bills have been sky high. I'm sure that everyone that lives here can agree with me on that one. I live in an upper apartment and the stairway that leads into my apartment is just as cold as the actual outside. If that wasn't bad enough, last Saturday during the snowstorm I start walking down the stairs to go out and I could not believe that my shoes on the floor were COVERED IN SNOW!!! In my apartment!!! It seems that the door and the doorway have such a big space that in between them that not only do I get a super huge draft in my house, I get snow to. Oh, and by the way, I left a call with the so-called after hours answering service (for some reason, all calls to them are never addressed) and still haven't heard back. It has been a week. I give up and I cannot wait to get out of here when my lease is up. I really thought I made a good choice with these apartments but I have had nothing but trouble (you can tell by my numerous posts to this board:). I will never judge a book by it's cover again!
