Best compared to all else in the area.

I just moved in in April and find that it is a bargain compared to other properties that have more modern furnishings. My apartment had just been remodeled before I moved in and it is fantastic. New microwave, Range, Fixtures, ceiling fan and new modern tile in the foyer, kitchen and bathroom. I pay $720 a month and looked at the Heights before signing the lease here. The Heights seemed nice but was way too overpriced for the space and old looking cabinets. I think the extra money must go to the overly fancy clubhouse/leasing office. Also Shoal Creek residents seem to care about what the area looks like, there isn't little kids toys and tricycles everywhere in the parking lots or scummy looking hood rats running around. Also there is the Beaver Creek park that is attached to the back end of the complex that you can walk to and play basketball or chip golf balls around in. I looked at probably 10 or 12 other apartments in the area and the only ones I liked were the ones owned by Dart properties. My other choice was Laurel Valley but I would have to have been on a waiting list for months. Shoal Creek is the best for the price.
