I lived here between the summer of 2003 and 2004 and could not wait until my lease expired. You have no control over your heat and it is always at least 85 degrees in your apartment, winter or summer. The wall A/C units do nothing to help and I actually wound up moving my bed into my dining room by the A/C because the heat was so unbearable. Had problems with ants and bees, which maintenance did nothing about, it was completely disgusting. In general, maintenance is horrible- they obviously have no clue how to fix anything and do not give a damn about getting their work done. Office staff is generally nice, but loses rent checks and paperwork. Also seem to have extremely difficult time getting work orders to ignorant maintenance staff. Besides this, there was constantly garbage all over the property because they allow the dumpsters to overflow so bad, and rats were a problem because of this. The walls are so thin I constantly heard my upstairs neighbor having sex. Workout room is a joke, I am a very small person and constantly felt I was going to break the flimsy old equipment. The only way I got things fixed was by calling the City of Troy Building Dept. and complaining, which I highly recommend doing. In sum, STAY AWAY!
