I lived in this apartment complex for about a year a half. At first glance (the entrance w/ the waterfall that has green to sometimes blue water, eeew) sure the property looks okay. The grass is kept cut; however, the landscaping crew cuts it too short and the grass burns. The leasing consultants appear nice and helpful. The clubhouse, where all the leasing papework is completed is made to look like your leasing a pretty nice apartment, but don't be deceived. Check a little further around the clubhouse and you can smell lots of mold and the carpet is stained. Don't go in the bathrooms, they stink like urine. Don't go into the sauna because it smells like stinky feet. The pool, when open, is filled with dirt like leaves and debris. I wouldn't be suprised if it contained substantial levels of human urine. The whole time I was their the sauna was never working. The complex allows dogs. So look out wherever you step, especially now since it's Spring. The entry gates are a joke. During my stay, the security gates never worked. I told the manager that she might as well tear them out if they couldn't maintain and upgrade the equipment. She replied with a snide remark. Parking is terrible. There isn't enough parking spots for everyone that has an apartment, let alone any guests tenants might have over. The complex is situation right next to I-75, which some might enjoy and some might dislike. Nevertheless, get ready to hear a huge truck tire blow out. It happened to me when I was home, I thought a bomb had been dropped. During the Winter the plowing and shoveling is terrible. Get your skates out, you'll need them to get in your car for your daily commute or errands. Once you become an official lessee, be prepared to be treated like crap from management. Their is no such thing has being nice in their behavior. The maintenance crew is less than awful. THey can't plow worth a crap, and when you have a request they are slower than molassas in January to respond. I am guessing that the apartments were originally built in the late 60's to mid to late 70's so the apartment buildings are falling apart. It's a wonder the city of Troy would even let a property like this keep in business. As for the rent, they get you by giving you offers to lower the rent to a less than reasonable rate. But after the year ends, or your promotion expires expect to pay in excess of $850-$900 per month.

So please take my honest advice and let the eagle's land without you regretting why they did.

Strange, but we have no record of a Martin Gordan ever living at Eagles Landing. Hmmm...this creates several questions and concerns...legal and otherwise regarding Mr Gordan. I certainly know his information presented here is untrue. Perhaps Mr Gordan should consider a career writing fiction for the sci-fi community.

Please read the review below titled "I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy." I completely agree! I responded to that statement with what I have written below (so no need to read it twice!).

As a current tenant looking to move out, I can assure you that everything "Martin Gordon" says is 100% true, down to the last descriptive word. I've only been here for about 2 years, but trust me-- its enough. I can't take the mold and bugs anymore. We are clean people who vacuum and yet we find ant hills below registers and in corners under beds. I've spent just as much money on Mold/Mildew Spray and Benadryl as I have on rent. And since it seems the office likes to read these and be bitter about people's experiences, I choose to stay anonymous until I am looong gone. I'm sure they'll respond now with "We dont have anyone named anonymous on record...hmm"...

By the way, don't expect to get a good nights sleep because the drunk drivers smash into cars parked out front at night. I've heard of at least 2 incidents in the past year. Certainly not the complex's fault, but these drunk idiots would be your neighbors.

This is only my opinion.

Funny, Everything I have read from Mr. Gordan, Seems to be true even if this is not his name. for your own safty you have to keep your name anonymous. But managment dose not seems to care about others. And not to mention the fact I was almost raped in your coummunity and you did nothing about it, Expect say " That persons apartment was rented out by a 3rd party" Hope you get that responce too.
