I and my 2 other roommates had problems from the day we moved in until the day we left. This was one of my worst living experiences.
-poor maintenance service
-problem with heating vents on floor; the temperature in our apartment was constantly too hot. We called to have maintenance come fix it approx. 5 times since we were there over the course of a year. Each time, they'd fix a valve, or go to the main heat source, and in the end nothing changed. So in December and winter months we had an apt on the 3rd floor at the temp of 80 and jared open a door and used fans. Everytime I called the office no one really seemed to know what was going on, or had on record that I had previously called.
-the door to the building was featured to be "safety locked" but that door was always unlocked (lock was broke). We called to report it and 4 months later they changed the lock
-We saw many cops around the apartment complex, usually at night
-During the summer the pool was closed on random days for random reasons
-We had trouble with our Comcast service because the cables and equipment that the complex used were old and hadn't been updated yet
-washers and dryers were constantly out of service in our building
-one of their features "gated community"....we moved in Oct. and the gates didnt start working until spring time. We never carried our gate key b/c it was never working. So when it magically started working, we were locked out. So we typed in our 3-digit code on the box it called some lady that used to live in our apt! So she couldn't help buzz us in. It turned out to be quite a fiasco. We had to call the office and update our phone number (even though on our move in lease papers we gave the proper phone number)
-One day we had a note on our door saying we had 45 days to either renew our lease or give our move out notice. When we submitted our move out notice, they were going to charge us a late fee because we didnt notify them within the 45 days! We then showed them the letter that was left on our door and it was dated after they 45 day window....seemed like they were trying to give us the notice late to screw us so we'd have to pay a late fee
-When we moved out we did not get back our full security deposit. We thought it was because there were some dents in the walls....but on the letter they gave us they said there were holes in the carpet. We laughed when we read this b/c we knew there weren't (we would have noticed fricken holes in the carpet!!)


There are other apartments in the area, move there. Do not move to Eagles Landing. It's definatley one of the worst living experinces I've had.
