Pulling Out My Hair

We moved into this complex after talking it over in length with the management. We wanted to guarantee that we were going to get good service as well as a nice place to live. When we first moved in there were a few common errors. Which when we pointed them out were resolved quickly.
Then the big boom came, The management had been fired/quit; and things started going down hill from there. We have been calling for months now regarding repairs and none of them are getting done. When someone does come and repair something you have to stand right over them to make sure they do it. And not sit on your couch drinking the beer in your fridge while you leave your place.
Since the new management has taken over this place has become even more of a mess! The roads are never plowed where I live, For that matter the side walks are NEVER shoved. I recently had a baby via c-section and slipped and fell. causing my incision to re-open. When I called about it they transferred me to their insurance company, who in return told me to file a claim on my own health insurance.
My family and I have to have the smell of marijuana protrude into our apartments, Walk threw talk ---- on a daily base. When you ask the tenet to pick up after their dog they are very rude and the management tells you, that you have no business asking anything of the sort. and sends you a violation. 24/7 we hear nothing but heavy metal music coming from the people and her hellion kids above us. And when we complain the associates of Eagles Landing say " That's apartment style living"
They have a nice sign outside when you enter that says "luxury living at affordable prices" Let me say it the nicest way possible. There is nothing luxurious here, your appliances barley work, The main doors that are suppose to be secure never are, the parking lot is never cleaned and the pot hole are bigger in this complex then on any given road in Metro Detroit. They attempt to lure you in with a nice pool, club house, sauna, hot tub, and fitness center. But when it comes down to it. The pool is always dirty, the hot tub never works, the club house you can rent for 500 dollars plus the fee for someone to stay there, The fitness center items are always broken. Then not to mention that fact of you actual apartment. Your walls are never painted, carpets are never cleaned, cupboards are filthy inside and out, (or falling apart) The utilities cost you an arm and a leg, ( 40 for Gas, 60 for Electric, 35 for water, on top of the 950 for rent) they say that you are getting a special, but when you compare them to different locations (Somerset Apartments) you are paying 5x's more for worse living. There are very few employees who know what they are doing here.
They cleaning people who turn the apartments do a very minimal job. The leasing agents only try to fill the apartments so they get their bonus. The new apartment manager thinks she is gods gift to this complex and has very poor social skills along with the assistant manager. not to mention the Manager is VERY RUDE! and COCKY!
Save yourself the time and money move somewhere else. I would suggest looking into other areas if you need a 2 bed room because there are not many in the area, Unless you look at Amber Apartments and that isn't the same size but the same price.
