23 years, and my mother still lives there

Somerset is a really nice place to live. The people are generally friendly with great ethnic diversity, it is safe, secure, well kept, and has excellent facilities. They have tennis courts, which could be redone more frequently but they are acceptable. They have five pools that are generally kept fairly well, but they need to increase staff pay in order to get responsible lifeguards. They recently had the landscaping redone, last year or so, and it looks excellent. The walls are somewhat thin in some of the units, but they were constructed before firewalls were necessary between townhomes. There is a reasonable amount of parking and management responds to problems fairly quickly. The maintenance staff is pretty good, but has lost far to many skilled workers over the years due to lack of pay. They still do the work but occaisionally they have to get someone more experienced to return. All in all it is a great place to live and I would recommend it to anyone who can afford it.
