Your experience at Somerset depends alot on where in the complex u live and in which apartment building.

Some apartments are nicer than others.

If u live in a building with lots of kids u will obviously be subject to noise and or toys and stuff in the hallways.

The building I am in is quite quiet and there are no bad cooking smells.

The hallways are a little dull, but once in the apartment u are welcomed with lots of natural light.

Some of the fixtures and appliances are new, but the rest are pretty old.

When I moved in I had to clean some of the older appliances.

This place is pretty old (built in 1968), so the floors creak alot.

The laundry facility is in the basement and its 2 washer/dryers to 12 apartments.

Also its quite a hike to the laundry room as sometimes 3 buildings are attached and share a laundry facility- if u are in one of the side buildings it is a distance to walk with a heavy load.

On the plus side the apartments I moved into is spacious and well lit.

Most of the apartments have kitchen windows and a breakfast nook.

The few times I dealt with maintenance they were efficient and prompt.

If u never have an issue with admin, maintenace or the leasing office, u will probably live here very peacefully and comfortably- they will obviously forget about u unless u pay your rent late.

There are 5 pools and an activities center, tennis courts, and play area for kids, and many walkways.

From my experience it seems a pretty safe complex.

I would recommend this place.
