Troy Place may not be the worst apartment, but its also not the greatest as these reviews would have you assume. As the last reviewer mentioned; the hallways and stairways smell constantly of cigarettes, and if you're lucky enough to live on one of the lower levels so will your apartment. The elevator is indeed broken almost everyday, and rather then hiring a real company to take care of the problem they send some random guy, who clearly has no idea how to fix an elevator since its broken so often. The pool is barely usable since its shaded by the building, so even when its blazing hot outside the pool is still freezing. The work out room looks like crap since everything is cramped into one tiny room; and again as the previous poster said, every piece of equipment is pretty much broken. The parking lot floods horribly when it rains, and despite the whole building being concrete I still hear the people above me blasting music, and stomping around like their 10,000 lbs.
On another note, the apartments are relatively safe I guess, as since I've been here only 1 person has had their car stolen to my knowledge. The staff in the office are extremely nice, and it really is in a great location.
