The main reason I picked this place was because it was "Sound Conditioned". I was told that meant they used extra insulation to minimize noise transfer btwn apts so "it's very quiet". LIE!!! I think what they meant was 'BE very quiet'. This is a fairly new complex but with poor construction. The walls and ceilings are paper-thin and insulation of any type (exterior/interior walls, floor, ceiling) is non-existent here. This place looks great and the apt set up is good but noise level kills it all. If you decide to move here you better pray that you get neighbors who have the same schedule as you. Imagine having an 8-5 job & being awakened every night at 3am by your upstairs walking across the creaky floor or flushing the toilet. It will turn your hair gray just like it did mine. I can literally hear all the conversations that go on upstairs, as I'm sure they hear mine, not to mention when they get in the mood for some lovin'!!!
Other problems:
The red headed witch, oops I mean office manager is extremely rude a non responsive to building complaints.
1st floor- no padding between the carpet or vinyl and the concrete slab the place is built on. Don't fall or you'll crack your head.
Place was infested with bugs (Rollie Pollies & spiders) when I moved in. Red directed me to buy a can of Raid to get rid of them. The Rollie Pollies are gone but spiders are still a problem.
My carpet is dry-rotted. Fibers get all over you if you sit on the floor, even with vacuuming every week. Red says its fine.
In conclusion, this was the worst move I every made.
