The apartments are cheap for what you get. The building is very old. The building smells bad in summer months. Sometimes the apartment smells funky if you don't keep it well ventilated. There's some water damage on the window sills.

South side of towers have a decent view of Downtown Detroit.

I've never felt that the building is unsafe, but there have been auto vandilism problems (wheels stolen, cars broken into, etc.).

The walls seem to be pretty thick. I never hear anything from the neighbors on each side of me.

They offer a good deal on move-in but increase their rates every year until you move-out. Very high turn-over in this building.
