I have lived here for three years and so far my car has been broken into (Stereo ripped out and things stolen) and my husband has been assaulted in the parking lot (unprovoked), police have run through our ??yard?? area looking for thieves, and the entire neighborhood is generally going downhill (robbery at bank down the street, killer hiding out in house down the street, neighborhood slashed tire incidents etc.). That may only be a few incidents, but it's too many on top of my general discontent with this building.

The neighbors are a mixed bag, grumpy old people who won??t say hi, loud obnoxious neighbors who hoot and holler while watching Nascar, neighbors cooking up a stinkfeast that smells up the entire two-story hallway and seeps under the door and makes your eyes water, neighbors who think they are the next 50cent, turning the bass up as they drive 50mph around corners, while toddlers are playing on the grass.

People walk their dogs on your patio to let them pee on your stuff. If my dog wasn??t female, I??d do it back.

It is a battle to use the laundry room. The hours specifically post 9am to 8pm; however, people are always up there around 8am and after 9pm. Aside from that, people leave their stuff in the machines after the cycles are done, when you are using the machines the neighbors will constantly pop their heads out to see if you??re done yet and then slam the door in discontent when they see you are not. On top of that the dryer often takes two cycles to dry and they raised the prices.

The management/ maintenance are generally ok, but we??ve had some issues. The management will often leave a note on your door the day before they will be coming in for maintenance. They insist that you ??retrain?? your dog (I think they mean restrain, but retrain has been the typo for over a year now). SO, when they decide it is convenient for them to change your furnace filter, you must take a day off of work ??retraining?? your dog because it is far too short notice to call an appropriate ??dog trainer????or kennel. This has happened several times, and I can??t even tell you how many have been spent waiting all day for the man to never come.

Our heating/air conditioning unit began leaking water and soaked about a quarter of our bedroom carpeting, thankfully we noticed it before it ruined any of our things. The guys came in and fixed it and pulled all the carpet back and left a fan and a ladder in the room, without any word as to when it would be finished or they would be back. Finally a few days later we called to ask them if they wanted their stuff back or if they would be finishing the job. They came in while we were gone and simply pulled the carpet back without doing anything with the padding, so now we have a hilly bedroom terrain where the padding is all bunched up. I seriously hope they don??t take away our deposit for that one.

The appliances in the apartment are old and generally working, but not the best. The dishwasher blows all the particles up into the cups and makes a ton of noises. The refrigerator shelves aren??t deep enough to hold a 12 pack of soda, and the door shelves are broken and being held together with packaging tape.
The blinds that are used on both the sliding door and bedroom window fall constantly and break at the top where they attach to the rod.

Do I really need to go on' Generally, it??s cheap, and somewhat convenient, but the area is changing, and not for the better, so how little would you pay for your safety'

Why doesnt this person move to another city? Sounds like she is blaming Regency Club for all of the problems in Warren, and if it's all that terrible, why would you be so eager to stay for THREE YEARS???

Well not everyone has the money to just up and move to another city or state. I cant stand the way warren/ eastpointe/ hazel park or any of the surrounding cities have gone down hill. It is ridiculous. I completely agree with whoever wrote this review. AS much as I hate to say it my boyfriend and I are probably moving to those apartments soon. We are young and cant afford anything else. cuz if we could trust me, we would be gone outta this piece of ---- state maybe even this country. I hate that all the ---- keep moving into our areas and destroying them like they did Detroit. So we civilized people have to continue moving north into the more expensive areas just to have a decent, secured home. All the ---- and ------- get all kinds of help from the state and the rabs own all the gas stations and charge us all kinds of extra money for gas so they get money that way. Then us white ppl get screwed cuz if you make over a certain amount of money you dont get any social security or medicaid. Thats bull ----. 350 a week cant pay a 900 dentist bill on top of food, rent, and gas....Anyway my point is this whole country has gone to ---- and not many ppl that want to leave have the money to leave. I wish it was just that easy to move to another city...

Well, it sounds like YOU have issues with the"----" and any other culture except your own. I use to live in that complex, but now married and have a nice big home(thank you very much), and it's not just the "----" that are loud and obnoxious in that complex. I thnk that the word or words that your trying to use (due to your poor schooling and upbringing) is disrespectful, ignorant and bad mannerism. Wait!! I think that falls under your background as well!! I happen to have been a "nig" that lived in that complex where my neighbors were of all races and WE got along just fine. WE respected each other OVERALL!! I do agree with Sally as far as that person blaming everybody, although I would have to agree with very few situations like people(B/W)(DID YOU JUST READ THAT) bringing their dog(s)to someone elses grass/patio grass and letting them use the bathroom in their area and not picking up behind them. They should always carry a plastic bag for that, but once again everybody has their (AS YOURSELF) opinion. So I am going to put it to you this way. And I am going to use the language that "YOU" understand, since your grammer sounds like you have hatred in you, so you can relate to this........ Why don't you grow the F%$^ up, come into the 20th century because you're wayyyy fu$!%in behind in the times. Get rid of your pansy ass hatred of all other races and look in the fukn mirror and hate yourself for not being a part of a great society and grow the f$^& up and get that tit out of your mouth..It's sour milk. Drink what REAL americans drink. Now that I have stooped down to your level of competency and gave you a mere suggestion, I hope you have understood it. I would hate to stoop any lower to talk to someone as short minded as you.. Have a great day and hopefully god will bless you the way you need to be blessed.....
