I have called and called left many messages about the problem of still being charged rent even though I gave over thirty days written and verbal notice that I would not renew my lease,I left almost two months ago. I also receive bills for months of heat that I paid for. I have also faxed all info and documentation to show my 30 day notice and canceld checks for heat. Still no response not one phone call nothing, only bills. While I was living at this complex my apartment flodded three times, I had furniture ruined clothing and such each time, they would not reimburse me for anything I had to put in all claims to my renters insurance and each and every time I had to pay a deductible and my insurance went up with every claim than the third time they cancled me. Cass lake would not give me a penny even though it was no fault of my own for the floods that I came home to. I also asked to be moved to a different appartment and they wanted almost 300 dollars for paper work. The last time my place was flooded I had to live with mold in my ceiling down my walls and floor boards along with a ton of it in my bedroom closet for over 6 months until I finally left. Once again many phone calls to fix the matter and no response. I could not be happier being out of this place no more car breakins, I feel safe going to my car no thumping music to all hours along with the 24 hour loud partys and yelling. Rent starts cheap but they increase it every year by at least 50 dollars and they make a killing for what they charge you for heat/gas (it is through the apartment complex by the way) does not matter how low you turn your therm. down plan on paying 70 to 80 dollars a month. I was gone three weeks and my therm. was set at 52 my bill for that month was 79 dollars, how is that possible' So if you wish to spend money to be frustrated on a daily basis, to be overcharged and not listend to than this is the place for you. If not run the other way.
