I have to say, before I moved into Rivers Edge I was warned by others. They said DO NOT move into 'Ghettos Edge'. They said it's got trash for residents, the apartments are too small, and the office and maintenance sucked. THEY WERE EXACTLY RIGHT!!
I thought it couldn't be that bad but as a precaution, I only signed a 6 month lease. Now, I've only lived here for 6 months and I'm moving out because I can't stand it any longer. I'm not joking. It's really that bad.
I've dealt with loud, somewhat looney neighbors. I've dealt with a leaky ceiling for over a month. I've had to deal with the light out in the hallway forever it seemed. I've tried to complain but then had to deal with rude employees, including management. To top it off, the place is always a disaster. If it's not my trashy neighbors cleaning out their car into the parking lot it's the trash dumpsters always overflowing so trash is blowing all around this place. At times, I've actually been scared to come home alone at night.
I've lived in a different apartment complex before and it was not nearly as bad. It just doesn't seem like any of the employees even care about the tenants. I'm gonna guess the reason the rent is so cheap is because otherwise, they would not have anyone living here.
