I have lived at this apartment for almost 1 year. In early January a pipe burst on the second story and caused water damage in my apartment and ruined my brand new bath rugs, but the apartment complex did not seem to care at all. Then during the month of July I awoke in the early am to another pipe break from the second floor, this time it was the washer line. My carpet soaked, for days I had to live with fans, dehumidifier and stink. After the machines were removed 4 days later and after me being sick from not sleeping and feeling so dirty from the water stains I asked the apartment to clean my floors, they eventually cleaned the carpet but it was my responsibility to mop the floors and re arrange all my furniture. It was like living in a maze for about 1 week. I had bruises on my feet from stepping on all the electric cords and then after the re-stapled the carpet back down I kept finding staples all over the place, just pure laziness. I asked for a break in rent or help with the electric bill (from running all those huge drying machines and fans) but the manager of the complex blew me off like he did when he told me he would come and mop up the floors. So I then wrote a letter to the owners (group five management) they actually told me to get any sort of reimbursement I need to go after the owners of the washer and dryer, I mean are theses people for real they are my landlord they should do all they can to their tenants happy. I am the one who pays the bills for them!!!! Other side notes since I have lived here my bath tub has never drained correctly, its obvious the management does what they can to minimally to cover up the problem rather than actually fix it. Keep in mind they love to use caulk to cover up lots of things of its seems when the caulk starts to come of rather than removing the old stuff they continuously go over it with new, I have seen this in my apartment as well as my neighbors. Also I heard from many neighbors as well from experience if you live on the first floor you will constantly here every step your neighbor above you makes. My neighbor who lived above me was a girl who probably weighed no more than 120 pounds and she would actually wake me up from a deep sleep when walking around. I have one more month of rent to pay and it actually makes me sick to my stomach to think about giving them that money for such a dirty, smelly, uncomfortable place. I can not wait to leave!

I agree with you 100%!! Every single step made upstairs is heard. I'm woken up every morning by the people upstairs walking, having a normal conversation, even SNORING! It's ridiculous.
They "repaired" my shower and a tile shattered and the same tile was glued back up and looked like puzzle pieces. My lease is almost up and I can't WAIT to get out of here!!
